New Zealand’s Puro seems pretty happy with its latest medicinal cannabis harvest; again the biggest in NZ history. Last Wednesday, the company reported the harvest was wrapping up, with tens of thousands of plants processed. Another significant recent achievement was a NZD $13 million government grant to go towards “turbocharging” the country’s local medical cannabis industry. “The New Zealand medical cannabis industry operates under a very strict regulatory regime, and medical cannabis can only be sold or purchased by those with the necessary licences,” said Puro in late April. “Puro does not sell what we grow to the public – if you are interested in medical cannabis please talk to a health professional.”
