–SAPM urges India to reconsider policies towards KashmirisISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Sunday said that lawmakers in Punjab, including those belonging to the government’s allied parties, have expressed confidence in the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. Addressing a press conference in Sialkot, she refuted reports about the existence of a forward bloc in Punjab government, saying that the chief minister had met with provincial lawmakers and had heard them out and reassured them that their issues would be resolved. “After the chief minister’s reassurance, they expressed confidence in the leadership of Usman Buzdar,” she added. She reaffirmed Pakistan’s political, diplomatic and moral support to the valiant Kashmiris in their just struggle for human dignity and their inalienable right to self-determination. She also urged the elected lawmakers to play their role in this regard.
