LAHORE -Punjab Premier Table Tennis League got underway at Nishtar Park Sports Complex gymnasium hall on Thursday. DG Sports Punjab Tariq Qureshi inaugurated the league where Vice Chairman SBP Rao Zahid Qayyum was also present. In group A, Shah Khan defeated Muneeb 3-0, Shehryar defeated Ubaid 3-2, Irtza defeated Osama 3-1, Shah Khan beat Shehryar 3-0, Ubaid beat Muneeb 3-0, Usama beat Shehryar 3-1, Shah Khan beat Irtza 3-0, Irtza beat Shehryar 3-0. In Group B, Faizan beat Mohsin 3-0, Taimur beat Anas 3-0, Hafeez beat Usman 3-2, Faizan beat Anas 3-0, Taimur beat Mohsin 3-2, Hafeez beat Anas 3-0, Usman beat Anas 3-0 and Usman beat Mohsin 3-2. While addressing the players, DG Sports Punjab said that Punjab Premier Table Tennis League is being organised to promote table tennis among the younger generation.
