Pulse record remains perfect

Anyone residing outside of the central zone had pinned their hopes on the third-placed Stars to end the unbeaten run of the Pulse on Wednesday night in Porirua. The Silver Fern received quality ball from wing attack Whitney Souness and missed just one of her 14 first quarter attempts at goal. Pulse coach Yvette McCausland-Durie stuck with her starting seven for much of the match with wing Maddy Gordon a late replacement for Souness with just over a minute to play.
