KOTA KINABALU: Police have identified the suspect who had shot three people, including two children, at the Pulau Gaya water village near here on Wednesday (Feb 5) night. Kota Kinabalu OCPD Assist Comm Habibi Majinji said they also believe the motive behind the shooting was vengeance. “This is because prior to the shooting, the suspect, known as Kacang@Mundung, in his 30s, had allegedly threatened the victim, ” he said. He said police believe the suspect was still hiding within Pulau Gaya and are confident they would make an arrest soon. He called on villagers and anyone who has information about the suspect to come forward and assist investigations.
