Skydiving company Inflite has been forced to delay the launch of their new operation from the Pukaki Airport and cancel a week of customers due to a "bizarre" issue with the Mackenzie District Council's planning department. "You don't require a resource consent to operate any aviation related commercial activity or businesses from the airport," Inflite chief executive Adam Joyce claims. Inflite Inflite announced the launch of it's Aoraki/Mt Cook operation earlier this year. Inflite The company have not had to source consents for their other operations in Franz Josef and Abel Tasman.
