The Housing Authority will begin checks on communal drainage pipes at all of its 1,575 public rental housing in the city from tomorrow. Priority will be given to estates or blocks with confirmed coronavirus patients. The HA said 600 blocks have external communal drainage pipes, while 900 blocks involve 410,000 flats with communal drainage stacks inside flats. Tenants will be hed responsible for rectifiying any unauthorized alterations at their own expense
