SIBU: A 30-year-old pub attendant was arrested after attacking two telco outlets with a golf club after they deducted RM4 from his phone credit on a daily basis. Sibu OCPD Asst Comm Saiful Bahari said the man smashed the glass panels and doors of a telco outlet in Jalan Wong King Huo at about 1.45pm Monday before attacking the other outlet in Jalan Keranji at 2.45pm. ACP Saiful said the man, who caused RM30,000 worth of damage to both shops, was arrested at a Jalan Belian house at 5pm. He is currently being detained for investigations under Sections 506 and 427 of the Penal Code. "We have made a report and we are working closely with the police to investigate the matter," said the spokesman.
