Tongi police OC Md Firoz Talukder said the students' protests disrupted traffic for more than 30 minutes on Monday morning. Traffic returned to normal around 8:30am when police intervened and moved the students away from the road. The students have demanded a foot over-bridge in front of their institution.OC Talukder said seventh grader Tasnim Aktar Rafa was killed after being hit by a car when she was crossing the road on Sunday afternoon.
