Prosecution’s evidence sufficient in plunder case vs. Jinggoy, Napoles – Sandiganbayan 0 SHARES Share it! Share TweetBy Czarina Nicole Ong KiThe Sandiganbayan Fifth Division believes that the prosecution’s evidence in the plunder case of former Senator Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada and businesswoman Janet Lim Napoles is sufficient enough to reach a guilty verdict. “This Court is convinced that the prosecution presented sufficient evidence, both testimonial and documentary, which established each element of the crime of plunder against the accused. This, if unrebutted by contrary evidence, is sufficient to support a conviction for the crime as charged,” the resolution read. Had the Sandiganbayan granted their demurrer, the plunder case against Estrada and Napoles would have been dismissed.
