The W Network star managed to avoid getting charged for an April 24 bar fight in Fargo, North Dakota, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Prison may have almost gotten a remodel, but it looks like Jonathan Scott, one half of the Property Brothers, won’t be calling a cell his home any time soon. Scott, 38, was allegedly placed in a chokehold by a bouncer after he attempted to stop an argument his friends were having at Dempsey’s Public House. “Upon review of the police report and associated evidence, I found there was not sufficient evidence to establish a violation of either simple assault or disorderly conduct … beyond a reasonable doubt,” Fargo city attorney Erik Johnson said in a statement. RelatedTMZ initially reported that Scott called 911, claiming he was assaulted by the bouncer and was “only trying to help out, and was not involved in the original fight.”Scott and his brother Drew were in Fargo at the time for the Eco Chic Design Conference, naturally.
