Priming is the act of preparing a person to bribe. “Ok, Ok,” replied my friend, almost calming her. But then came the remedy: the priming that reminded her of a girl’s primary duty in life. Why are we as eager to prime people into bribing just as we seem to be eager to be anti-corrupt? “The more you shell out the quicker the job is done.” It was another example of unsolicited priming.
