Dinesh of Tirumalgerry approached the police stating that he was cheated by the accused persons to the tune of ₹ 2 crore. Explaining the modus operandi, Mr Jogaiah said that the accused along with other culprits lured the gullible people by assuring huge profits for their investment in Forex trading. Initially, the accused returned some amount as profit to make the clients believe that they are getting huge profits of 25 % per week,” the Addl. Further, when the clients started investing more money, they would cheat them and avoid taking their phone calls.
