A primary schoolgirl has achieved the highest possible score in a Mensa IQ test - beating Albert Einstein and the late Stephen Hawking. Anyone over the age of ten and a half can take the Mensa Supervised IQ test. The average adult has an IQ of 100, while a score above 140 is considered to be that of a genius. Famous Mensa members include TV presenters Carol Vorderman, Bill Buckley and Debbie Flint as well as author Zoe Barnes and model and former Miss Rochdale Laura Shields. The cost of taking a Mensa test is £24.95.
