Lakhan Dubey, a priest at Pracheen Shiv Mandir, Gandhi Nagar, and his 30-year-old wife allegedly planned and murdered Chandra Shekhar, a resident of Mathura’s Govardhan village, said the police. The priest of the temple, Lakhan, was called for interrogation. The police then established the identity of the victim and he was found to be Chandra Shekhar from the same village as Lakhan and his wife. “He brought her to Delhi two months ago after his father told him that she was involved with Chandra Shekhar. Lakhan told the police that the two, instead of trying to end the matter verbally, planned to kill Chandra Shekhar.
