Jayalalithaa's death: Inquiry commission to complete investigation within 3 months


Another GO, dated Wednesday, says the commission will re-examine everything that happened from the time Jayalalithaa was hospitalised till the day she breathed her last. The Tamil Nadu government has listed the acts to which the commission will adhere to, and describes the extent of its powers. It had already announced the the probe into the former AIADMK supremo's death would be headed by A Arumughaswamy, a retired judge of the Madras High Court. Investigators could find it challenging to gather data for analysis, given the amount of time that has passed since Jayalalithaa died.
