The coffee chain is slashing the price of hot drinks from today (July 15th), with the price of hot food to be reduced from July 17th. Posting on social media, Pret said: ‘We’re passing back temporary VAT savings to our lovely customers. So over the next few days you’ll notice lower prices on your favourite coffees, hot food and a few other treats. Prices may differ slightly from store to store but prices will effectively be slashed by 15% as a result of the tax break. But Pret isn't the only chain to launch price cuts with the new temporary measures.
