Abigail Marks filmed the spider attack, and hopes to find out what type of creepy crawly it was. Zoo bosses have made it clear that the huge spider had not escaped from any of its enclosures. “I was thinking ‘I wonder if that’s an escaped spider’. “It’s probably something really normal but I’ve never seen a spider try to kill a bee before.”The footage shows the brown spider pinning a struggling bumblebee to the ground on its back.
