Karen’s Diner on Bury New Road in Prestwich has been named as one of OpenTable’s UK Top 100 restaurants for this year. The table reservation service, which also produces city-based restaurant guides and blogs, published the list after compiling 1.2m diner reviews. The diner, famed for its “rude staff and great burgers”, was named among five Greater Manchester restaurants including The Ivy Asia in Manchester’s Spinningfields, Bar San Juan in Chorlton, Hawksmoor and Higher Ground, both in Manchester City Centre.
