This statement fails to address the call to audit all honorary degrees. The Senate should release a statement committing to reviewing all honorary degrees. A UBC spokesperson said, "The university is working to establish a transparent process and criteria for reconsidering honorary degrees granted. UBC's Alma Mater Society has not only requested that O'Grady's honorary degree be revoked, but that the university conduct a full review of all previous honorary degree recipients.
