The request is for the IOC to uphold its ban of Russia and Belarus from the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. The signing will place at the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine in Kyiv. “World Athletics is appalled by developments in Ukraine and condemns the Russian military invasion,” World Athletics wrote in a statement. Russian athletes won dozens of medals.
