President gives ultimatum to leftistsPresident Rodrigo Duterte has set a deadline for the Communist Party of the Philippines- National Democratic Front to explain the ambush made on govt troops on Thursday. The president said he will wait until 5pm on Saturday for the leftists’ reply. Duterte visited the wake of one of the slain members of CAFGU killed during the NPA ambush. Otherwise, Duterte said he will end the unilateral truce he offered during hia first State of the Nation Address on Monday. Duterte will be staying in Davao for the next 10 days, starting Friday (July 29, 2016).
