CAIRO – 15 December 2022: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met Thursday with President of the Libyan Presidential Council (LPC) Mohamed al Manfi, said Presidential spokesperson Bassam Rady. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the proceedings of third and last day of the Washington-hosted US-Africa Leaders Summit, added the spokesperson. Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said the meeting covered the latest developments on the Libyan territories. Rady said that the meeting witnessed an agreement and an affirmation on the depth of strategic relations between Egypt and the US. The two sides asserted the importance of intensifying cooperation and coordination between the two countries regarding a set of international issues and files.
