The president sent a similar cable of greetings to the Egyptian expats abroad, wishing them a happy Easter. Meanwhile, Al-Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed El Tayyeb phoned Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese to greet him on the Easter. Pope Tawadros II on Thursday urged all Egyptians to abide by COVID-19 precautionary measures announced by the government.
