The Christian community in Pakistan and around the world celebrated Easter on Sunday with religious fervour and devotion in remembrance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He praised the role of the Christian community across the country, saying their contributions are integral to society and deserve recognition and respect. In a separate message, the premier said Easter carries a universal message of love and renewed hope for all humanity. The premier noted that the Christian community continues to play an active and invaluable role in the country's economic and social development.
