Sohobash CollectedThis year, Lucky Enam, a notable TV and theatre personality, will be honoured with the ‘Syed Mohidul Islam Padak’In memory of prominent playwright, actor and director Syed Mohidul Islam, Batikrom Natya Goshthi will hold the Syed Mohidul Islam Memorial Festival on December 25 at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA). This year, Lucky Enam, a notable TV and theatre personality, will be honoured with the ‘Syed Mohidul Islam Padak’. Several theatre actors and activists will be bestowed with the Mancha Bandhu Award and Jugol Award. To mark the 18th death anniversary of Syed Mohidul Islam, a play titled Sohobash, penned by Ramaprasad Banik, will be staged under the direction of Noushin Islam Disha. The organizers informed the press that they would introduce new programs to mark Mujib Year.
