An electrical short circuit linked to a power overload is suspected of being the cause of the fire. He also said the government will make sure to provide the best possible service to the victims' families. Also, all large passenger vehicles, regardless of age, will be required to show their maintenance records when undergoing routine inspections, he said. To improve safety, Wang said his ministry will demand that the Vehicle Safety Certification Center strengthen inspections of electrical systems on tour buses in the future.
