Arsenal's title chances approach 90%It wasn't that long ago that Arsenal's projected chances of winning the Premier League title - as determined by Opta's supercomputer - had dipped below the 70% mark. Both Manchester City and Aston Villa were stringing together an impressive run of wins as we approached the festive period, while Arsenal showed chinks in their armour. They followed up defeat at Villa on 6 December with scrappy wins over Wolves, Everton and Brighton. After the latest set of results, Opta have now given Arsenal an 89.82% chance of winning a first top-flight title since 2003-04. Manchester City's chances, meanwhile, have fallen to 6.89% and Villa's 3.17%.
