Now the filmmakers have revealed there were three different endings, with the two unused ones connecting the movie to Alien. He shared new images and the story behind the endings, revealing a breather mask that would attach itself to the Alien characters Ripley and Newt in the Alien movies. As the two endings were cut, the ending used in the final cut didn't connect to the Alien universe. Instead Black used an ending that let the tech attach itself to a random lab worker. No fun, Black, no fun.
