We're asking our readers how they would solve the housing crisis. Housing prices will drop or go sideways for decades at some time, as house prices have become so disconnected from the incomes of average New Zealanders there can be no other outcome. As housing can’t be built overnight, it gives them time and they can shift blame onto the Auckland Council, RMA reforms and the Reserve bank.
