Last week 23-year-old Akuhatua Tihi was found guilty of murdering a fellow prisoner in Christchurch Men's Prison. Last Friday Akuhatua Tihi, now 23, was found guilty of murder. Martin de Ruyter Brent Powell in the Intensive Care Ward of Nelson Hospital after being attacked by Akuhatua TihiWhen he crossed paths with Powell, Tihi was drunk. Along with the charge relating to Powell's attack Tihi also pleaded guilty to another.
