Hydro-Québec has restored power to some 150,000 customers in the Outaouais who were without power Monday evening during the evening rush hour. ET there were transmission failures at power stations in both Gatineau, Que., and L'Ange-Gardien, Que. The power outage knocked out street lights in Gatineau at the height of rush hour. The outage also affected communities as far west as Luskville, north to La Pêche and Lac-McGregor and L'Ange-Gardien, Que. At just before 6 p.m. the power utility said power had been restored to most customers.
