A popular Chinese restaurant in Edmonton has been ordered to close after health inspectors found evidence of mice, cockroaches and unsafe food handling within the restaurant. Alberta Health Services issued a closure notice to Garden Bakery & Restaurant at 10019 106th Avenue earlier this week. An inspection report from an executive officer from AHS found the restaurant was in a condition dangerous to public health. It says it has more than 250 varieties of food items and that the restaurant also delivers. The restaurant also has a second location in West Edmonton Mall.
