Pope, Moroccan king declare Jerusalem ‘common patrimony’ of three religions

Speaking at the ceremony at the Tour (or tower) Hassan mosque and nearby mausoleum in Rabat, Francis defended "freedom of conscience" and "religious freedom". The pope is due to finish his Saturday schedule by meeting migrants at a centre run by Catholic humanitarian organisation Caritas. On Sunday, the pope will celebrate mass at a Rabat stadium with an estimated 10,000 people attending.
