This rare bird is causing a flap in North Wales

The osprey, which is known as Blue 24, has returned to the region from North AfricaOne of Britain's rarest birds has returned to North Wales after migrating all the way from North Africa. A female osprey known as Blue 24 was spotted at the Llyn Brenig reservoir on the Denbigh Moors. Last year, Blue 24 reared a chick named Luned - a name taken from the ancient Welsh prose story Mabinogion and chosen via a Facebook poll. Meanwhile, Blue 24 has been spotted looking keenly towards the skies in the hope that her mate will soon return. Blue 24 caused a flap on social media with birdwatchers poised at the site to see it back.
