Subbarami Reddy has said. More pharmaceutical companies and industries came up providing employment to increasing population but pollution was increasing, he said. To contain pollution, more measures such as planting lakhs of trees should be taken up, he told reporters here on Monday. Raising greenery was the only option and of the 40 lakh trees planned earlier 32 lakh were raised. He complimented the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant for raising greenery and good waste management, and the Railways for maintaining the station well.
