Poll officer goes missing in West Bengal's Nadia district


A polling officer who was in charge of EVM-VVPATs went missing from Krishnanagar in Nadia district of West Bengal on Thursday. The officer, Arnab Roy (30), had supervised the preparations on Thursday at Bipradas Pal Chowdhury Institute of Technology. District Magistrate (DM) Sumit Gupta has said that the administration is trying find Roy. "We have informed the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), West Bengal. Ranaghat goes to poll on April 29 along with seven other parliamentary constituencies in the state in the fourth phase of the seven-phase Lok Sabha election in West Bengal.
