IEBC has maintained that it will not extend the deadline for parties to conduct nominations across the country. He further said that the electoral agency has advised against parties holding nominations on the same day. "We have advised parties to avoid having primaries on the same day," he said. The IEBC boss made the comments barely hours after Jubilee announced that Nairobi primaries scheduled for Monday are postponed. The three were initially in the Team Nairobi which also had Nominated MP Johnson Sakaja and Dagoretti South MP David Waweru.
