The MP’s former chief campaigner in the last elections and Webuye businessman, Philip Wamoto, is expected to give the incumbent who defected from ODM, a run for his money, should he win the ANC ticket for the August 8 General Election. Mr Wamoto is in a bruising battle for the coveted ticket with veteran Journalist Vitalis Musebe and five others. “I have worked with many politicians including Mr Alfred Sambu, (the Webuye East MP who is unopposed in ANC), where I was also his chief campaigner before the larger Webuye constituency was split into two. In Kanduyi constituency the battle is between Mr Wafula Wambanda and Mr Noel Makeni, all are Nairobi based businessmen.
