The Jamaat ameer said Khaleda Zia has left a unique identity in the country's political arena for her strong leadership and firm political stance. National Citizens Party (NCP) convener Nahid Islam posted on Facebook, expressing condolence over the death of Begum Khaleda Zia. The NCP convener prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul of Begum Khaleda Zia and expressed his deep sympathy to Khaleda Zia's bereaved family and followers. Chief Coordinator of Ganosamhati Andolon Zonayed Saki in a Facebook post expressed shock at the death of Begum Khaleda Zia.
