According to him, the new regional commanders have been selected and will soon be posted to the new regions to ensure the regions are on solid security platform. The IGP expressed confidence stating that “The new regional commanders have been selected after due diligence. According to President Akufo-Addo, “it is important for the growth of the society that justice is done to all manner of person irrespective of who they are”. Present at the WASSA was the Minister of Interior; Ambrose Dery, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration; Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, including the men and women in the police service.
