MANILA, Philippines — Police, on early Sunday morning, seized an estimated P1 million worth of illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation in Quezon City. The Quezon City District Drug Enforcement Unit led the buy-bust operation at a restaurant on Timog Avenue at around 7:45 a.m., according to Superintendent Guillermo Eleazar, Quezon City Police District chief. Also nabbed in the buy-bust were more than 200 pieces of ecstasy valued at P500,000 and four bottles of liquid ecstasy valued at P200,000. The police arrested Michael Franz Karag, Nina Recio, Sarah Sibayan and and Dianne Strella in the early morning operation. The police are looking into filing sale and possession charges against the four suspects under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
