Police are searching for "violent offender" George Pomee​ who has a warrant out for his arrest for failing to appear in the Auckland High Court. The 23-year-old Pomee faces charges including kidnapping, aggravated robbery, threatening to kill and assault with intent to injure. Police said Pomee had links to the Head Hunters gang and had contacts across Auckland, Tauranga and Napier. He was considered dangerous and could be armed and he should not be approached by members of the public, a police statement said.
