SUNGAI PETANI: Police have rescued 17 foreign women and one foreign transgender woman from an entertainment outlet here in a raid on Saturday (Nov 18). The 18 are believed to have been victims of human trafficking who were forced into vice by working as guest relation officers (GROs). He added that all the women rescued in the 12.30am raid were between 20 and 30 years old. "The raid also saw four caretakers of the outlet in their 30s detained. They have been remanded for six days starting Saturday to help in the investigation,” said ACP Saifi.
