KUALA LUMPUR: The Defence Ministry is constantly upgrading its military assets to suit more advance use and ensure safety at all times. Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said the 2018 Budget, tabled on Oct 27, also provided some allocation for the said efforts. This, he pointed out, included enhancing the Royal Malaysian Air Force's Hercules C130 transport aircraft and Nuri helicopters with the latest technology. "In the 2018 Budget, there's allocation given specifically for the purpose of upgrading the aircraft," he said at Putra World Trade Centre here today, referring to the C130 plane. "These militant groups will only be successful if we stop making efforts to contain their influence."
