The man, who appears to be in his twenties, has been identified as ‘Marjan’, counter terrorism unit chief Monirul Islam told reporters on Friday. Investigators have released a photo of a suspect who they believe was the field level coordinator of the deadly Dhaka terror attack. The picture has also been released on the counter terrorism unit’s CT app. “He is a second-tier [militant] leader,” the counter terrorism chief said. Terrorists killed 22 people, including 17 foreigners and two policemen, at an upmarket cafe in Gulshan, in the deadliest terrorist attack in Bangladesh’s history.
