Vancouver police have raided a pot shop owned by Marc and Jodie Emery after the couple was arrested and charged in Toronto this week. In total, 11 search warrants were executed in Toronto, Vancouver and the Hamilton, Ont. (Christer Waara/CBC)Lawyer Kirk Tousaw confirmed to CBC News that the activist couple was arrested on charges related to trafficking cannabis. In the '90s, he had another pot shop in Vancouver called Hemp B.C. Every time the store was raided, Emery was fined thousands of dollars.
