( Cannabis Culture Twitter )A coordinated effort by Toronto police and the City of Toronto saw raids across the country of marijuana dispensaries, arrests of cannabis activists, and a court injunction filed. Sean Stevenson, employee at the Cannabis Culture at 461 Church St. said there were around 10 employees and 30 customers in the store when the police entered. Initial reports of the Emerys’ arrest came from Cannabis Culture, a marijuana dispensary chain and pro-marijuana news outlet founded by Marc Emery and owned by Jodie Emery.
