To prevent motorists from speeding and check accidents, Chennai Traffic Police have placed barricades at the intersection of Anna Salai, Muthu Kumaraswamy Naicker (MKN) Road and Grand Southern Trunk (GST) Road, Guindy. Nine plastic and steel barricades have been placed at the intersection. Earlier, motorists coming from MKN Road as well as Anna Salai would take a free left turn at high speed to reach GST Road, which had resulted in minor accidents. “The move by the police to place barricades and deploy more personnel at the junction is heartening.
