IGP visits rural police stations to boost moraleThe Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr. James Oppong-Boanuh not too long ago paid a surprise working visits to Likpe-Bala and Hlefi Police Stations in the Oti and Volta Regions. The visit was to acquaint himself with the working conditions of police officers in rural areas. This move forms part of his decision to improve the general security of the country as well as ensure discipline in the police service when he was made IGP. Officers at the Station expressed joy at the IGP’s visit and said it will motivate them to work with more commitment.
